Our rose collection is built to order in our Dubai studio: every stem is inspected on arrival, every arrangement is hand-tied or boxed by a florist rather than pre-made and stored on a shelf, and every order is photographed and approved by you on video before it leaves for delivery. Where Our Roses Come From

We buy in small, frequent batches rather than holding large stock, which means the roses arriving in your bouquet are usually only a few days off the farm. Stems are kept in a cooled holding room until an order comes in, then cut, conditioned and arranged the same day they're dispatched — nothing sits pre-made waiting for a buyer. Our florists check every stem for firm, closed-to-half-open heads and healthy foliage before it's used, and any stem that doesn't meet that bar is set aside rather than included. Rose Varieties We Work With

Not every rose in this collection is the same shape. Standard (hybrid tea) roses are the large, single-headed bloom most people picture first — the default for bouquets and boxes where you want a bold, uniform look. Spray roses grow several smaller blooms on one stem and are usually mixed in as filler, softening an all-standard-rose bouquet and adding fullness without adding many extra full-size stems. Garden roses have a fuller, more layered petal structure closer to a peony than a traditional rose, and tend to appear in our more premium boxed and dome arrangements where presentation matters most. Ecuadorian and Kenyan roses — the two origins most rose farms in this region import from — are prized for larger heads and longer, straighter stems than roses grown at lower altitudes, which is part of why they're the backbone of most of the bouquets and boxes in this collection. Bouquets are the classic hand-tied arrangement — roses gathered with complementary greenery and wrapped in paper or ribbon. They're the most versatile option and the easiest to hand over in person, since they arrive ready to trim and place straight into a vase.

Boxes present roses lying flat in a fitted box, heads facing up, often layered with silk or satin. They travel well, hold their shape without a vase, and tend to read as a more premium, unboxing-style gift — a popular choice for anniversaries and birthdays alike, and one of the easier formats to send to an office where a vase isn't handy.

Domes (sometimes called flower domes or rose bell jars) arrange roses under a clear acrylic or glass cover. Because the flowers are sealed inside, they typically last longer than an open arrangement and make a striking centrepiece that needs no water changes for the first several days — a good option for someone who wants a low-maintenance gift or a longer-lasting keepsake.

Baskets suit a fuller, more natural look — roses mixed with seasonal foliage in an open woven or ceramic basket. They stand on their own without a vase, which makes them an easy choice for offices, reception desks or hospital rooms where surface space and water access are limited.

How Many Roses Should You Send?

Stem count is its own kind of message, and there's no need to overthink it, but a few conventions are worth knowing before you choose.

• A single rose or a trio reads as a quiet, personal gesture — often used for a first date, a small apology, or a simple "thinking of you".
• Six roses is a step up from a single stem without being a major gesture — a common choice for a first-month anniversary or a light-touch thank you.
• A dozen roses is the most common gifting size and the default for anniversaries, Valentine's Day and most romantic occasions.
• Two dozen steps the gesture up without tipping into extravagant territory, which makes it a common choice for a milestone birthday or a proposal.
• Fifty roses is reserved for major occasions — a significant anniversary, a big congratulations, or simply making a statement.
• One hundred roses, usually arranged as a box or a large basket, is the top of the range and photographs particularly well for engagements and milestone celebrations.

Caring for Your Roses at Home

Roses are one of the longer-lasting cut flowers when they're looked after, and a little care in the first few days makes the biggest difference to how long an arrangement holds up.

• Trim each stem at a 45-degree angle as soon as it arrives, and again every two to three days — a fresh cut lets the stem keep drawing water efficiently.
• Change the vase water every two days, and use the flower food packet included with your order; it feeds the bloom and slows bacterial growth in the water.
• Keep the arrangement away from direct sunlight, heating vents and fruit bowls — ripening fruit releases ethylene gas, which speeds up petal drop.
• Remove any outer petals or leaves that start to wilt or brown so they don't affect the rest of the bunch.
• Strip any foliage that would sit below the waterline — leaves left in the water encourage bacteria and shorten vase life.
• Boxed and domed arrangements need less day-to-day maintenance since they aren't sitting in open water, but they still benefit from being kept out of direct heat and sunlight.

Handled this way, a hand-tied bouquet typically holds for five to seven days, and a domed arrangement can last noticeably longer since it's sealed away from open air and handling.

Same-Day Rose Delivery in Dubai and the UAE

Every order in this collection is arranged to order rather than pulled from pre-made stock. Order before 9 PM and we deliver the same day anywhere in Dubai, free of charge — including Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina, JBR, Business Bay, Jumeirah, Al Barsha, Deira, Mirdif and the wider emirate. You'll receive a photo or short video of the finished arrangement for approval before it leaves our studio, so there are no surprises on the receiving end.

We also deliver across the wider UAE. If you're sending roses to Abu Dhabi or Sharjah, the same-day cut-off is earlier — 12 noon — to allow time for the drive, and arrangements travel in insulated, temperature-controlled transport to protect the blooms in transit. We deliver to homes, offices and hotel receptions across all seven emirates, including Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain.

Who the roses are for should shape the choice as much as the occasion does. For a partner, red or deep pink in a bouquet or box is the safest, most expected choice, and stem count can scale with the significance of the date. For a parent, softer pastel tones or a mixed bouquet tend to land better than deep red, which can read as overly romantic. For a colleague or manager, yellow, peach or a mixed pastel bouquet keeps the gesture warm without any romantic connotation — red is generally best avoided in a workplace context. Ordering Ahead vs. Same-Day

Because every arrangement is made to order rather than pulled from stock, there's no real advantage to ordering weeks in advance — the roses used in your bouquet are sourced close to your delivery date either way. That said, for a date you already know is coming (an anniversary, a birthday, Valentine's Day or Mother's Day), placing the order a day or two ahead guarantees your preferred delivery slot rather than leaving it to the same-day cut-off, which can fill up on the busiest gifting days of the year. If the date is today, the 9 PM Dubai cut-off still applies as normal.
